The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Product Engineering Operations, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading, executing, and supporting critical initiatives to improve product design, change control, and documentation standards across Solventum's Medical Surgeries business.


• Managing and developing a team of engineers and contingent staff through the successful deployment of changes.


• Ensuring global product regulatory compliance by maintaining the highest standards of documentation compliance under FDA QSR 21CFR / ISO 13485:2016.


• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify continuous improvement opportunities within existing QMS framework.


• Engaging with external healthcare industry leaders to anticipate upcoming trends related to documentation management and compliance.


• Coaching global engineering teams and management on documentation compliance best practices.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND eight (8) years of experience developing, supporting and/or maintaining commercialized products in a private, public, government or military environment.

• High School Diploma/GED from AND twelve (12) years of experience developing, supporting and/or maintaining commercialized products in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Four (4+) years of experience maintaining design documentation and QMS compliance within the healthcare industry.


• Strong understanding of design requirements for medical devices and drug products, previous experience working under FDA 21CFR and/or ISO13485:2016 is preferred.


• Demonstrated record of superior project management techniques to implement large change initiatives. Additional project management certifications and degrees are desired.


• Strong communication skills (written, oral, and presentation) and Microsoft Office system proficiency.


• Experience working with cross-functional teams, and general understanding of the role each function plays in maintaining adherence to QMS requirements.


• Previous supervisory experience.

Travel: May include 10-20% domestic / international travel

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 - $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
