Overview

The primary responsibilities of the Senior Accounts Payable Analyst are to create and maintain vendor files, review and record vendor invoices, assist with payment processing, review and process expense reports, as well as assisting in ensuring that all accounting is completed in accordance with US GAAP. This role will also assist with both internal and external financial audits for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain vendor files.
  • Review and record vendor invoices
  • Review and process expense reports
  • Assist with reconciling monthly credit card statements
  • Assist with weekly payment processing
  • Communicate with Project Managers and customers about invoice discrepancies
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years experience working in an accounts payable function of a government contractor
  • Government Contractor experience and accounts payable processing for federal government contracts
  • Working knowledge of GAAP Accounting and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
  • Experience working with large volumes of data
  • Proficiency in Office 365 suite of applications (Excel, SharePoint, Teams and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate, facilitate and disseminate information
  • High level of organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.

Basic Compensation: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 yearly salary

The salary offered within this range will be based on the selected candidates skills, experience, education, market data, and internal parity. DLH may offer other rewards that may include performance incentives and program-specific awards. An applicants salary history will not be used to determine compensation.
