Job Description:

HotFoot Recruiters is excited to partner with a multinational sheet metal manufacturing company in North Phoenix to find a talented Buyer. You'll play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring that materials and supplies are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively.


Position: Buyer
Type: Full-Time; Direct Hire


Responsibilities:

• Source and procure materials, supplies, and services necessary for manufacturing operations.


• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to secure the best terms.


• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production to ensure timely availability of materials.


• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and reliability.


• Analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.


• Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, and cost.


• Prepare purchase orders and ensure accurate and timely processing.


• Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to meet project requirements.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement in the sheet metal manufacturing industry.


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.


• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.


• Proficiency in Oracle, Globalshop and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Excellent communication and organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
