Senior Accountant - Scaling Pre IPO Tech Unicorn at Kforce Inc in New York, New York

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a hyperscaling pre-IPO tech unicorn headquartered in New York, NY, is seeking a Senior Accountant. This is a company backed by prominent venture capital firms and strategic investors. The work schedule is hybrid.

Duties will include:

• Month end close


• Financial statement preparation


• General ledger


• Account analysis


• Account reconciliation


• Journal entries


• Accruals

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Advanced degree a plus


• CPA a plus


• 2+ years of experience


• Public accounting experience a plus


• Big 4 experience a plus


• Strong Excel experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
