Location: Lexington office. Hybrid schedule: 4 days in-office, one day remote.
The Head of Strategic Sourcing crafts sourcing strategies that foster positive supplier relationships and collaborates with various stakeholders in negotiating significant contracts. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in overseeing and pinpointing sourcing and cost-saving prospects across diverse business functions. Additionally, they will closely monitor the terms, expenses, and timelines of major contracts and subcontracts.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborates with essential stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies that harmonize with the company's overarching goals, facilitating efficient acquisition of materials, components, and services.
Overseeing vendor relations and fostering robust, strategic alliances with crucial third-party suppliers.
Oversees contract management, negotiating advantageous business terms and fostering enduring, productive relationships with vendors.
Establishes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and additional metrics to evaluate vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
Extensive expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement, encompassing deep understanding of category management and adeptness in negotiating complex contracts for both direct and indirect procurement.
Demonstrated readiness to thrive within a dynamic and fast-paced corporate setting.
