Summary:



Our Senior Wastewater Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all water leaving a Tyson water treatment facility meets the requirements set by local state and federal governments. This requires maintaining treatment systems, performing operational maintenance, and keeping administrative records. Our Senior Wastewater Supervisor is also responsible for budgeting for sufficient funds to operate and maintain the treatment facility effectively and providing a safe working environment with proper safety equipment and tools for personnel.


Other responsibilities include analyzing operational data to determine changes and improvements needed to accomplish objectives ensuring wastewater samples are correctly collected and sent to the lab for determining permit compliance and generating reports for the corporate office and government agencies as required. Other duties include aiding Wastewater Operators in maintaining their operator's license, overseeing and maintaining the operation of full-treatment equipment and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.



This would be for 1st Shift, 6:00AM-2:00PM (Flexible), although the Salary rate is based on experience, this role is eligible for a 5% Annual Incentive Plan & about a 2% Annual Salary Review, with great benefits, Medical/Vision/Dental & a chance to join a great TEAM!




Requirements:

• Education High School Diploma or equivalent level of education.
  
  


• Experience: 3 + years of environmental compliance experience
  
  


• 
  Wastewater Certification License required. (To ensure proper review of the applicants qualifications; it would be helpful to notate if you obtain this certification on your application or resume)
  
  
  


• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills such as checking e-mail, entering data into document templates, or creating simple queries.
  
  


• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
  


• Supervisory: Our Senior Wastewater Supervisor is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
  
  


• Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year
  
  


•
