Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sr. Director of Total Rewards at Central Maine Healthcare located in Lewiston, ME. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Sr. Director Total Rewards at Central Maine Healthcare will lead its compensation, benefits, rewards, and teams. The role will require the individual to manage the design and implementation of innovative, best-in-class strategies to attract, reward, and retain top talent. This position is a vital member of the Human Resources leadership team, collaborating to develop short- and long-term plans that help drive the organization's success.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in total rewards management, compensation, benefits, or related HR functions, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation practices, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into actionable total rewards strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team management, coaching, and development.
