Job Title: Senior Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Specialist

The Pro Bono and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team are a key part of the Firm's People team. The Senior DEI Specialist will play a pivotal role in working with the Senior DEI Manager and broader team to implement and advance our global DEI strategy. Responsibilities include developing and managing proactive project plans, leading, and participating in developing and delivering programs, events, trainings, and other initiatives focused on workplace inclusivity. We're looking for a collaborative, organized, and passionate individual with excellent data and analytic abilities, along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively plan and implement DEI programs, workshops, and events.
  • Create, update, and maintain DEI-related internal and external communications and marketing materials, including the diversity-related content displayed on the Firm website and DEI events.
  • Analyze and benchmark internal and external diversity demographic data, industry trends, and other related information, including creating quarterly reports.
  • Compile and organize complex data for reporting to diversity-related industry and client surveys.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting expenses related to the DEI budget.
  • Coordinate activities and provide logistical support for the Firm's affinity-related resource groups.
  • Proactively seek out knowledge of diversity-related current events, legal industry concerns, legislation, and best practices.
  • Additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years of experience working on DEI initiatives within a professional setting, preferably in a law firm.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expert at analyzing data related to DEI; adept at identifying trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Highly skilled across Microsoft Office suite.

Salary range based on experience level and location is estimated to be in the range of $55,000-75,000.
