Overview

Thermo King of Houston is Now Hiring a Staff Accountant at 3323 Jane Lane, Dallas TX 75247. Responsible for areas relating to accounting functions and financial reporting for Thermo King and its subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

• Month end close processes including journal entry preparation and posting, month end accruals and account analysis.


• Financial statement and individual account analysis.


• Prepare monthly sales/use tax returns.


• Monitor, analyze and reconcile sales/use tax accounts.


• Respond to inquiries from the Executive Staff regarding financial results and special reporting requests.


• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.


• Maintain a strong, personal commitment to the safety culture.


• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills required.


• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance is required.


• CPA is preferred.


• 1-3 years of experience in accounting/financial reporting is preferred.


• Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications is preferred.


• Experience with automated accounting systems is preferred.
