Job Description:

As a Field Representative I, Services Onsite Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting, servicing, and maintaining Ricoh managed devices within a specific geographic area. Your focus will be on customer service, technical support, and ensuring the availability of devices. Ricoh empowers digital workplaces, connecting people and technology to deliver innovation worldwide.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to device service and supply alerts, meeting service level agreements.
  • Perform servicing and repair procedures, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, installation, and routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Utilize remote support resources to resolve service issues and minimize dispatch.
  • Document all service calls and requests using Ricoh OFSC and customer-provided systems.
  • Replenish and replace consumables and supplies for devices at assigned locations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate parts, supply, and asset inventories.
  • Adhere to IMACD process, supporting functional tasks, and communicating statuses promptly.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise and excellent customer relation skills.
  • Achieve expected productivity levels associated with assigned workload.
  • Communicate regularly with the customer on the status of problem resolution.
  • Perform meter reads or captures for accurate billing.
  • Travel between customer's buildings and locations within a specified geographic area.
  • Manage device inventory and spares, ensuring records and mapping are up-to-date.
  • Complete technical training on new equipment as assigned.
  • Support equipment training, inventory, and implementation efforts.
  • Complete all required administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and positive demeanor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) with additional education preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license and minimum auto insurance coverage as per company policy.
  • Completed classes and experience involving computers, electronics, mechanics, etc. desired.
  • IT Help Desk Support experience (application - hardware support) preferred.
