The Role:
Our Gas Purification business is looking for a talented POU Gas Purification Product Line Manager based in San Luis Obispo, CA who has an established pattern of success in product management, operations, and product development. The ideal candidate for this role is experienced in managing product lifecycles, leading functional teams and driving commercial wins to fuel profitable growth is required.
With the fast pace of innovations, this candidate must be able to manage multiple, diverse, and complex projects with changing scopes and customer timelines. An ideal candidate must be able to adapt to changing market conditions quickly and often. We expect that the candidate will collaborate, share and be ready to learn in a team that partners closely with its customers.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as R&D, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Legal and Supply Chain to accomplish your product objectives.
Develop demand forecasts for products with documented assumptions and risks.
Manage the product life cycle effectively, including the inventory, part number, pricing approvals and service support.
Manage the customer facing PCN (Product Change Notification) process.
Maintain product line marketing collateral to support field service and sales personnel.
Ensure products exceed customer expectations in terms of quality and on-time-delivery.
Collaborate with quality team and customers to drive resolution to concerns and implementing preventive measure to avoid future instances.
Initiate and manage continuous improvements to the product line(s).
Collaborate with Product Management, Operations, and Procurement teams; drive gross margin initiatives across the product portfolio.
Support product management, engineering, and new product introduction teams to seamlessly release new product to manufacturing with accurate stocking strategies.
Be the point person to drive resolution to product delivery gaps.
Ensure accuracy of customer shipped configurations and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
Manage product changes after release.
Create and present marketing materials, including presentations, data sheets, promotional and training materials, both internally and externally.
Complete other duties as assigned.
What We Seek:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a business, engineering, or science discipline
Product management or Operations/manufacturing experience
Excellent written and verbal communication along with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders. Must be able to present information and respond to questions from internal groups and external customers
A highly organized team player, who is a self starter and brings passion, enthusiasm, and focused diligence to their work
A collaborative leader to inspire cross-functional teams, with the ability to prioritize and drive for execution
A customer-centric mindset

Salary Range: $100,000-140,000 base. Actual offered salary will be based on candidate experience.
