Position Summary

The Compliance Data Analyst - Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) is in the data analytics CRA team within the Compliance department and is responsible for the development and maintenance of efficient reporting and analytics to measure, improve, and predict the CRA compliance performance for Lending, Investments, and Services across the enterprise Bank charters.  In addition, the position supports the data submission requirements for CRA examinations. This position will use a combination of data management, reporting, and analytic tools like excel, Power BI, python, SQL, and GIS tools and industry specific applications like CRA Wiz and Kadince to provide insights into Lending, Investment, and Services performance data across 15 bank charters and banking industry peer data.

What You’ll Do


  • Collect, assimilate, analyze and report CRA performance for 15 charters to Management.


  • Become a subject matter expert and regular user of industry software (for example: CRA Wiz).


  • Provide monthly tracking, updates, and analysis of Community Development Investments, Donations, Services and Loans by Bank and at the enterprise level.


  • Monitor data accuracy through quality control reviews.


  • A subject matter expert in CRA related data sets and calculations used in CRA analysis: US Census, Dunn & Bradstreet small business data, industry mortgage peer data, industry small business peer data, Housing and Urban Development data, geocoding science and data sets.


  • Data storytelling through effective data visualization.


  • Exhibit superior time management skills (measured by deadlines, quality of progress and projects completed).


Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience


  • Bachelor's Degree (major/minor Data Science/Computer Science) preferred


  • 0-3 Years of Relevant Experience


  • Ability to develop advanced data analytics, data reporting (static and interactive), data visualization, and computer skills.


  • Ability to complete accurate and timely work assignments.


  • Strong attention to detail and intense focus on producing accurate work.
