Description

We are currently looking to hire a strong corporate accounting manager to join our Loan Staff Practice. This person will be dedicated to supporting our diverse client network in the Easy Bay area (from growth stage to Fortune 100), assimilating with client teams onsite for long-term project engagements in accounting and finance. Duties for this accounting manager role are expected to include month/quarter/year-end closing, staff supervision and review, management reporting, financial analysis, consolidated financial statement preparation and ad hoc analysis and reporting. This person will ideally be able to contribute by helping to refine processes, develop and implement strong internal controls, and establish policies and procedures. The right person can expect steady progression over time, tackling increasingly complex projects and growing into senior management roles!

Qualifications
  • Corporate Accounting experience (General Ledger / ME Close)
  • Prior Supervisory or Managerial experience
  • Degreed in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
  • CPA firm experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience using large ERP systems (NetSuite S4Hana)
  • Intermediate Excel skills including the ability to update existing reports and models as well as summarizing large data sets utilizing pivot tables, sum/subtotal functions and v/h-lookups.
  • Must be able to support a remote, hybrid or on-site schedule depending on the client
  • Must be able to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills are required
  • Open minded & positive attitude is a huge plus!
