We are searching for qualified candidates to provide coordination, management, planning and implementation for systems addressing complex opening solutions. Projects are primarily in aviation, shipyard, mining, military, and other commercial settings. Commercial construction or heavy industrial construction experience is a must. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Sales pre-turnover activities including pre-release approvals
Participate in door project contract review
Coordinate door project design & operation review
Plan and execute specialty projects, establish and manage project costs
Manage Electrical and Mechanical drawing submittals
Manage installation activities and General Contractor (GC) coordination
Manage project Change Orders, assist the Installation coordinator with field issues
Among other duties
ABILITIES
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Knowledge of general building construction management
Experience with architectural and structural drawings
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
Quality control experience
Knowledge of LEED requirements and documentation
Frequent travel
EXPERIENCE
Experience in general contracting or sub-contracting capacity.
Experienced "job" site equipment installation management.
Desire experience working with architects and engineers.
Two to five years work experience in project management, proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
