Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to operate a forklift to approved O.S.H.A. standards

Performs inspection on machined seamless rolled rings or forgings to ensure conformance with work orders, blueprints and/or customer requirements. Supports Quality Improvement activities and non-conformance systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties may be required and assigned at any time.
Must be able to understand geometrical dimensioning & tolerance in accordance with ANSI Y14.5.
Ability to visually and mechanically measure and inspect parts utilizing final inspection tools.
Must be able to interpret drawings.
Performs First Article Inspections.
Ability to interpret blueprints and measure parts in accordance with blueprints.
Have knowledge of Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment.
Support MRB regarding dimensional issues and provide disposition.
Provide support to the machine shop.
Must have correctable vision to meet the requirements of company work instructions and procedures.
Must have understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.
Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and procedures. SUMMARY
