The Test & Balance Services Estimator supports the growth of the Test & Balance Services of the Company.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job responsibilities will include the following: • Pursuing bid opportunities for a professional HVAC testing and balancing contractor • Reviewing detailed HVAC plans and specifications and preparing bids for HVAC testing and balancing • Reviewing client bid lists/ftp sites, create bid lists and bid files, track addendums & RFI's • Preparing and sending proposals to multiple clients in a time-critical environment • Following up with clients for current project documents and equipment submittals for awarded projects • Creating job folders with all relevant project information for field technician use
Required Qualifications • 5+ years HVAC estimating, drafting, and/or project management experience • Must be able to read HVAC plans and specifications • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Bluebeam experience a plus. • Strong time management and organizational skills along with the ability to multitask. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to follow instructions, desire to learn
