Responsibilities:
Contribute to significant initiatives aimed at enhancing our financial platform capabilities.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand feature and product visions and provide engineering insights.
Design intuitive API interfaces and domain models to ensure consistency across multiple downstream vendor integrations.
Develop secure, resilient, scalable, and high-performing systems for transaction processing and customer data management.
Uphold and promote high standards of technical excellence within the team.
Ensure operational excellence by participating in the team's on-call rotation and resolving production issues from root cause analysis to resolution.
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize projects and communicate changes effectively.
Estimate project timelines, ensuring adherence to schedules, and escalate issues as necessary.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in talent acquisition to bolster the team's capabilities.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant technical experience in software development.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Proven track record of leading projects from architectural design to production while upholding high technical standards.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a history of effective teamwork with colleagues and stakeholders.
Experience or interest in developing FinTech, payment, or banking systems.
