Company will pay for consultant to travel home for a short trip on the weekend, but will be expected to be onsite Monday morning.
Training will take place in Nashville and first migration will be in Nashville!
Customer sites include San Antonio, TX, San Dimas, CA, Philadelphia, and other locations across US
Must Haves:
High School diploma or GED
Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance/background
3+ years of Windows 10 or Windows 11 migration experience
Experience physically setting up network systems, connecting patch cables, installing rack equipment, etc.
Experience providing remote technical support
Experience configuring backups and performing imaging
Experience transferring user profiles and files
Ability to travel 100%

Day-to-Day:
As a traveling Field Technician, you will be supporting a Windows 11 migration project. You will be migrating 5000 computers across 200 locations nationwide. You will be responsible for the installation, servicing and upgrading PC equipment, mainframe connections, and peripherals and responds to user requests. Troubleshoots and repairs computer software, hardware, and network configurations. Provides technical and user support for PC components, mainframe networking, and LAN-based systems.
IG Consultants: While on contract, you will be an Insight Global employee working for a particular company/end client on W2.
Pay Day: You will be paid out each Friday and one week in arrears. This means you will receive payment for this week's hours next Friday.
Holidays/Time Off: While a consultant through Insight Global, the hours you work are they hours you will be paid. We do not offer paid sick days, paid time off, or paid holidays, except as required by applicable law.
