Job DescriptionCommercial Insurance Account Manager | Lakeland, FL (Hybrid Schedule)
Job Duties
- Full Knowledge of insurance products and usages
- Ability to advise and consult with clients re: their insurance coverages
- Manage workflow of assigned book of business and delegate workflow
- Maintain accounts in accordance with organizational guidelines
- Service and monitor account activity.
- Call existing insured to compliment or "round out" personal accounts.
- Work strategically with sales staff to optimize relationships and protect client's business.
- Perform special projects as directed by the VP, Commercial Lines.
- Review policies and coverage for accuracy and rating calculations.
- Process endorsements, placement requests and invoicing.
- Complete and prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries and reviews.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our partners, carriers and vendors.
- Responsible for marketing process & quoting new and renewal business
Qualifications
- 3+ Years working with middle market accounts in agency environment
- Ability to meet/w clients and discuss insurance mitigation strategies
- Must be organized
- Ability to delegate workflow
- Ability to multi task
- Strong math & technical skills
- Experienced w/TAM or equivalent agency management system
