Job Description:

FG&Co is looking for an experienced Producer to help our growing team.

The FG&Co brand is evolving as an agency by way of talent, experience, collaboration, and passion for creating inspiring work. It is an exciting time within the agency and this position will help lead the charge.

As a FG&Co Producer, you will work within our Production Department working alongside Creative, Strategy, Technical, Project Management and Account teams in pulling off whatever we dream up. You will act as the bridge between concepts and realistic execution within budget, making sure that projects are executed efficiently and flawlessly through their lifespan.

Producers produce a variety of projects and activations within the experiential and storytelling space ranging from virtual and live events to marketing tours and creative campaigns and everything in between. Producers collaborate closely with Project Managers, Creative Directors and Technical teams. They lead marketing tours, product launches, seeding kits, sales meetings, tradeshows, consumer and virtual events and creative campaigns.

You can:
  • Independently manage projects in their entirety. This includes budget, vendor management, onsite production schedules, and all other needs approved in the scope of work.
  • Successfully work independently without the direct supervision of the Executive Producer.
  • Project types to include:
  • Multi- faceted events (drawing on any and all internal departments)
  • Virtual events
  • Hybrid events
  • Medium to large sized A/V events
  • Smaller video productions and shoots
  • Trade shows of any size
  • Projects with custom builds that involve executing deliverables that are already defined
  • Tours and activations over $200k including experiential projects and guerilla marketing
  • Able to manage a project both in a role of leadership with support staff or in a support capacity to another producer
  • Can manage medium custom installations
  • Can manage meetings with mid- level client content management onsite
  • Have strong communication skills, including clear concise emails, messages, strong grammar, and verbal communication all with tactful execution
  • Manage project budgets to maintain margins indicated on approved scope of work
  • Successfully lead and manage projects utilizing multiple internal departments. These supporting departments should have confidence in your ability as the production lead.
  • Can effectively delegate and lead assigned production assistants
  • Should have a basic understanding of internal project workflow and how to effectively utilize internal services. (i.e. Microsoft Teams utilization, other department work requests, renders, overhead drawings, etc...)
  • Timely completion of timecards, expense reports, and any other required accounting needs
  • Can confidently manage 5 or more simultaneous projects. Alternatively, must be able to identify limits and speak up if the scope of work grows beyond the capacity of one producer to manage.
  • Project and Account Management teams have confidence and trust in ability to meet deadlines, deliver accurate information, and to notify them of potential problems in a timely manner.
  • Show forethought in planning. Able to stay one (or more) steps ahead of client and/ or PM requests on a regular basis.
  • Demonstrates adaptability to work with a wide range of clients.
  • Contributes to the growth of junior staff by fostering learning opportunities and mentorship as the situations arise.
  • Demonstrates accountability for all issues that happen on their projects.
  • Timely completion of timecards, expense reports, and any other required accounting needs

General Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • 3-5 years project management, production, or relatable industry experience

Valid driver's license and maintaining a driving record acceptable to FG&Co's insurance carrier for inclusion on our auto liability policy.

Frequent business travel and significant on-site event duties.

This is a hybrid position based in Portland, OR and requires some in office presence.

Salary range for this position DOE. You will receive up to three weeks paid vacation, thirteen paid holiday days; paid sick time; 100% employer-paid health, dental, vision, disability and term-life policy premiums for employee; insurance benefits available for dependents which is paid by employee through pre-tax 125 cafeteria plan; FSA or HSA plans available for employee-paid co-pays/deductibles or dependent care expenses; 401k plan; gated employee parking; cell phone & transportation stipend; company-paid outings.

Position requires sitting or standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 30 pounds, extensive use of a computer, driving an automobile and personal automobile available for business use (mileage is reimbursed), occasional national travel with out-of-town stays as long as seven days (sometimes longer), non-compete agreement and non-disclosure agreement
