Job Description:

Apply Social Emotional Learning concepts and advanced youth development principles in working with members and staff through communication, relationship development, respect for diversity, involvement, and empowerment. Ability to communicate, oversee, and work with individuals and groups (all ages and skill levels) and provide necessary instruction to members and staff. Assist in the management and care of the physical facilities and equipment for the program. Be a role model to members and staff in your attitude and behavior. Represent the branch when interacting with families, volunteers, and youth members. Communicate with families regarding participants experiences and provide appropriate feedback and information as needed for youth to have a successful experience. Oversee facility operations, program development, quality and delivery at the facility Emphasize excellence in programs, member services, and facilities through program engagement and supporting staff. Lead member engagement to ensure that a high performance, member-centric culture of outstanding service is in place. Assures the safety, function, and cleanliness of the facilities and programs at the service area. Leads integration with Y branch areas including cross-department collaboration and coordination with branch initiatives. Assist in developing programs, services and activities. Responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of program operations. May be responsible for assisting in the development/delivery of or engaging in program and community events and activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.Minimum of two (2) years of management experience to include supervision.Proven management abilities in community and property and building management.Effective interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated maturity, good judgment, and excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to think conceptually with good analytical skills and demonstrated assertiveness to manage the scope and diversity of the responsibilities.Ability to handle multiple demands and priorities and achieve organizational objectives.Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
