Communications Specialist

Irvine, CA (Hybrid)

Position Summary

Thales is looking for a Communications Specialist to be an essential part of the communications department. You must possess key traits such as flexibility, organizational skills and the ability to support a wide range of communications activities. The responsibilities span across all aspects of communications for two global business lines IFE and AGS. The communications specialist works closely with the entire communications team and will partner with several departments to help deliver the communications agenda in alignment with the business priorities. to play a crucial role in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic equipment independently.  

In this position, you will also be responsible for monitoring and improving daily shop activities, assigning work plans, and contributing to process optimization.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Provide a wide range of support in all aspects of communications, coordinate video and graphic productions.




• Develop social media content and web content.




• Maintain internal and external web pages, write internal & external communication materials.




• Develops surveys and support development of presentations.




• Distribute internal communications through company channels.




• Coordinate and manage logistics of several communication activities such as exhibition, events and company meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor in communications, marketing or business related fields.




• Skilled in Digital communication & web content development.




• Project Management experience.




• Strong writing & communications skills.




• Experience with Graphic and design development.

Pay Transparency

The anticipated TTC range for this role is $60,798.47 - $121,596.93 USD Annual. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s status protected by local, state, or federal law.
