The overall purpose of this position is to design, develop and manage activities for cloud connectivity products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life (lifecycle management). These services are part of the business Wireline Connectivity portfolio within the Enterprise Markets group and support AT&T's fiber, SD-WAN, cloud voice, cybersecurity, and mobility services by enabling hybrid multi-cloud networking.

As businesses increasingly rely on cloud-based apps across multiple public and private clouds, how they connect to and between these clouds is more critical than ever. To strengthen AT&T's value as the best network for cloud-based apps, we are converging and evolving our cloud connectivity portfolio. Key focus areas include adding automation to support both self-service and AT&T managed services, expanding connections and capacity across datacenter and cloud providers, streamlining the customer experience and operations, and scaling distribution through both direct and indirect channels.

  • Product management - ability to manage complex products and apply structured thinking to create frameworks, stakeholder with executives, and drive directions with extended teams
  • New product innovation - ability to creatively incubate new capabilities and experiences to meet immediate customer needs while enabling repeatable, scalable solutions at low cost
  • Cloud networking - ability to apply deep understanding of datacenter and cloud architectures, technology, business models, services, and experience toward evolution of AT&T's products
  • Business development - ability to engage effectively with 3rd party suppliers and indirect partners to bring new capabilities to customers and drive joint market success


The ideal candidate will have:
  • Prior product management experience defining, building, and launching new products, features and enhancements
  • High business and financial acumen with ability to create forecasting models and drive results against key financial metrics
  • Deep knowledge of customer needs and buying behavior in the enterprise, public sector and mid-market segments
  • Strong technical expertise with understanding of networking services, datacenters, cloud connectivity, NFV, SD-WAN, voice, and security
  • Creative, critical thinking abilities to drive innovative yet standard and repeatable solutions
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams across internal and external organizations


Key roles and responsibilities of the title:
  • Research, designs, plans, develops and evaluates new products by translating and documenting customer requirements into final product design
  • Analyzes customer needs, identifies priorities for new products or services and enhancements
  • Defines market, including competitive analysis and definition of product functionality
  • Prepares and presents business cases for new products and services
  • Partners with business, technology and UX teams to design a product that will meet the needs of the business with minimal investment
  • Creates product roadmap and project plan
  • May be responsible for managing budgets, acquiring estimates and the requests for funding
  • Assigned complex product or product lines


Education: Bachelor's degree required. MBA desirable.

Experience: 6+ years of experience in similar area of responsibility.

Our Lead Product Management & Develop, earn between $143,800 - $215,800. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
