Commercial Superintendent - Data Center/Mission Critical at HAYS in Dallas, Texas

Position Overview:


We are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Commercial Superintendent with a proven track record in managing large-scale data center projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to ensure successful project execution. This role will be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.


Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Oversee all aspects of data center construction projects, from planning to completion.


• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery.


• Monitor progress, address any issues, and make real-time adjustments as needed.

Data Center Expertise:

• Possess in-depth knowledge of data center construction, including infrastructure, electrical systems, HVAC, and security.


• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices specific to data centers.


• Coordinate with specialized subcontractors for critical installation.

Site Supervision:

• Provide on-site leadership and supervision.


• Manage subcontractors, material delivery, and workforce.


• Conduct regular inspections to verify work quality and adherence to project specifications.

Budget and Cost Control:

• Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to the allocated budget.


• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.


• Prepare accurate cost estimates for change orders and additional work.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate effectively with clients, project stakeholders, and team members.


• Resolve any conflicts promptly to keep the project on track.


• Foster positive relationships with all parties involved.

Safety and Compliance:

• Uphold safety protocols and enforce compliance with safety regulations.


• Ensure adherence to environmental guidelines.

Documentation:

• Maintain detailed records, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety documentation.


• Prepare and submit necessary reports to project management.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  
  
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Commercial Superintendent.

Compensation:

• Salary Range:
  $100,000 to $130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
