Job Title: Fiscal Assistant Municipality of Murrysville
The Municipality of Murrysville is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Full-Time Fiscal Assistant. Prospective applicants should hold an associate degree in accounting or business administration, bachelors degree preferred, possess proficient skills in utilizing computers and fiscal software, and ideally, possess three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience, with a preference for backgrounds in accounts receivable, payroll processing, or within a government setting. Applicants with equivalent combinations of training and experience will be duly considered.
The successful candidate will excel in a diverse role that encompasses various responsibilities, including managing Accounts Receivable functions, processing incoming receipts and deposits, and handling various Human Resources tasks such as new hire onboarding and assisting in maintaining personnel files. Additionally, the candidate will cross-train as backup for payroll processing as well as compile data for spreadsheets and financial documents as needed.
This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, and a defined retirement plan. The salary range for this role is between $42,630 and $57,645, based on experience and qualifications. Apply online at.Murrysville.com
