Palletizer Operator at Conagra Brands in Imlay City, Michigan

Job Description:

Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, 3:30 PM-12:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $19.24 an hour + $$0.25 shift differential

You will work onsite at Conagra's Imlay City facility - Home of the Vlasic brand. You will be assigned to work in the role of Palletizer Operator on the afternoon shift, reporting to the Team Leader. This position pays $19.24/hour plus $0.25/hour shift premium. You will work directly with your crew leader and remain on the job until the last case reaches the palletizer which is the step of the production process.

What will you do:

The Palletizer Operator is responsible for the operation of all Palletizers. You will setup the machines for the proper production run. You will start up the equipment, clear misfeeds, and restart the machine.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate Alvey palletizing equipment.


• You will be trained and authorized for lockout tagout procedures.


• You will coordinate change overs with the casing department.


• Ensure machine and surrounding area is kept neat and sanitary.


• Adapt to changing situations.


• Work with Crew leader, Quality Team,and Team Leads.


• Train, direct and lead employees


• Complete documentation following standard.


• Read and interpret a variety of instructions/documents such as; safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.


• Ensure actions remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
