Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotating Equipment Planner to join a leading downstream partner of ours. The Rotating Equipment Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities related to rotating equipment to ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain maintenance plans and schedules for all rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and motors, in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.
  2. Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to identify and prioritize maintenance activities based on equipment criticality, production requirements, and safety considerations.
  3. Review equipment history, performance data, and predictive maintenance reports to anticipate maintenance needs and optimize maintenance schedules.
  4. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of parts, materials, and services required for maintenance activities.
  5. Create work orders, job plans, and task lists for planned maintenance activities, including inspection, repair, overhaul, and preventive maintenance tasks.
  6. Monitor and track maintenance work progress, resource utilization, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  7. Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential equipment failures and minimize production disruptions.
  8. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance history, costs, and performance metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives and budget planning.
  9. Participate in root cause analysis and failure investigations to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to rotating equipment maintenance and reliability.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5-10 years) in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a chemical manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of rotating equipment principles, components, and maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) methodologies and condition monitoring techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications in maintenance planning, reliability engineering, or project management (e.g., CMRP, PMP) are preferred.
