An industry leading grocer is seeking a Business Analyst - Sales and Use Tax Contractor to join their team. This individual will be responsible for reviewing and verifying Sales Tax from in-store transactions, as well as Use Tax from Vendors.
Job Duties: • Research credits confirm accuracy and usability • Sales and Use Tax Reporting and Compliance • Sales Tax Research • Taxability Analysis • Assist with internal audit ensuring sales taxes are collected appropriately • Conduct Taxability Research meeting internal and external requests • Perform special projects, as necessary
Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field • 2+ years of Sales and Use Tax experience within a retail environment • Experience with Workday Financial and Coupa a plus • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables / V lookups) • Ability to effectively communicate with other accounting and tax personnel
