Burstyn Law is a high stakes, complex commercial litigation firm located on Brickell Avenue in the heart of Miami. We are hiring a Senior Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of commercial litigation experience, hold strong analytical, problem-solving and drafting skills, and be comfortable preparing for and managing complex commercial litigation disputes for high profile clients. The firm's cases are challenging and rewarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare for, attend and/or conduct hearings, trials, mediation, and depositions
Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
Draft and review legal documents and correspondence, including pleadings, proposed orders, briefs, discovery requests and responses
Education, Experience and Expectations:
Admitted to practice in Florida
Minimum 8 years experience in commercial litigation
Strong academic credentials
Work Monday to Friday in person
Working well in a team environment
