BEPC is hiring a Facilities Project Engineer in San Angelo TX

W2 1 year contract with possibilities for extension.

Manager Job Overview

The role of the Project Manager (Facilities) will be, but not limited to, as follows:
  • Require PMO training, problem-solving skills, and budget management.
  • Preferred PMI certification, procurement experience, and Black Belt training.
  • Prepare business cases and present them to the Plant manager and staff.
  • Conduct bid comparisons from multiple vendors and subcontractors to define the best alternative.
  • Develop planning schedules to communicate project timelines to customers and employees, outlining various project gates and stages.
  • Manage a maintenance and facility Projects portfolio of $3MM to $10MM Capital projects per year.
  • Experienced in budget management. Created estimates, quotes, bills, and invoices for new projects. Oversee project finances and maintain cost control.
  • Knowledge and experience in key facilities processes such as air compressors, water coolers, water heaters, fire systems, and clean room air conditioning units. Knowledge of the Sterilization process, Nitrogen plant, and purification water plant is a plus.
  • Manage material and equipment procurement and explore cost-saving strategies for equipment and supplies.
  • Experienced with manufacturing equipment maintenance.
  • Routinely monitor the contractor's performance to verify that the project complies with stated dates, procedures, regulatory requirements, and any additional deliverables that may have been identified in the contract of work schedule.
  • Interface with and support construction management teams at the site by delivering key information that enables them to make informed and timely decisions.
  • Verify key performance indicators (KPIs), leading/lagging indicators, and data submitted by team members and contractors are accurate, timely, and complete.
  • Facilitate communications, including project status meetings and notices, to ensure relevant information is communicated across the site and that management is included in those communications.
  • When non-compliance and/or non-conformance is observed, immediately bring the issue to the attention of that individual and key stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Participate in progress and schedule meetings.
  • Support client initiatives as requested.
  • Conduct a weekly site safety walk with the contractor management representative.
  • Act as a coach and advisor to the contractor safety committee.
  • Assist in design reviews throughout the Life Cycle-planning, as requested/required.
  • Attend training courses as requested.
  • Understand and verify operational EHS requirements are adhered to.

SCOPE OF WORK

Leads and supports all facilities projects at Ethicon, San Angelo, Texas site. We anticipate the scope of work will be conducted primarily by an experienced professional who assists in the day-to-day application of Capital projects including Budget management, safety and compliance, root-cause analysis, problem-solving, and PMO activities.

The proposed 40 hours per week will be primarily focused on project management activities. Onsite work is expected to be 5 days per week on average.

The candidate might have to work during shutdown/holiday to perform facility upgrades.
