Responsibilities

Externally Procured Material Requirements Planning

  • Utilize ERP system to drive on-time, in-full delivery and continuity of supply through coordination and collaboration across the supply chain; optimize supplier delivery schedules and inventory levels by expediting or deferring material in accordance with changes in demand.
  • Otherwise utilize SAP inventory strategies as necessary to support the procurement lifecycle.

Purchase Document Management

  • Utilize ERP system to effectively review and release purchase orders for the purpose of procuring raw, semi-finished and finished goods and services as necessary to support the business.
  • Engage in the creation and execution of schedule agreements or consignment structures as necessary.
  • Ensure acknowledgments and order confirmations are in place to minimize supply disruption.

Master Data Integrity

  • Enable operational excellence through the control of master data relating to purchasing information. Includes but not limited to: supplier delivery lead times, purchasing information records, source lists, MRP-relevant material master views.

Commodity Support

  • Responsible for cost control, achieved by supporting Sourcing on cost savings, supplier quality and development, and P2P optimization initiatives.
  • Communicate forecasts to suppliers.
  • Assist with New Product Development (NPD) or sustaining projects as required


Qualifications

  • Proven ability to model disciplined execution following detailed standard work, maintaining a high level of attention to detail, driving efficiency, productivity and personal accountability.
  • Demonstrated innovative and technological mindset to ensure master data integrity and accuracy, seek out latest industry trends, road-map future technology and champion early adoption.
  • Sound ability to make data driven and analytical decisions by identifying trends and opportunities, making problems visible, and utilizing financial acumen to justify investments and influence decisions.
  • Proven success in challenging the status quo to drive continuous improvement promoting the use of root cause problem solving, valuing new ideas, inspiring others, and demonstrating effective use of change management principles.
  • Proven success in building partnerships, influencing others, and communicating effectively both in verbal and written form, seeking diverse perspectives, and strong emotional intelligence to enable cross functional collaboration.
  • Ability to prioritize personal development by modeling a growth mindset, demonstrating openness to feedback, and pursuing ongoing learning.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% domestically.
