Pulpmill Services is currently looking for a candidate to join our team as a Quality Assurance Director. Pulpmill Services is a full service fabrication and machine shop located in Northeast Louisiana that specializes in custom high-allow fabrication for the pulp and paper, chemical, and many other industries.
Skills Needed:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and similar programs
• 5+ years of quality assurance/quality control experience
• Multi-Tasking
• Customer Relations
• Organization
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain all quality records as necessary for compliance with customer needs
• Develop and maintain welding certification database
• Review and markup drawings for QC checkpoints
• Assist in development and certification of weld processes
• Physically inspect welds, measurements, tolerances, finishes, etc as necessary
• Develop inspection reports for customers
• Assist in QA meetings with customers
• Other duties as required

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
• Certified Welding Inspector
• Knowledgeable in AWS D1.1/D1.6
• 10+ years of quality assurance/quality control experience
• Very organized and able to maintain a large volume of records
Other information related to role:
• Typical work week with be M-F approx 40-50 hrs per week
• Duties outside of typical work hours will be necessary on occasion
