About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Backend Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining a performant platform for managing tens of thousands of devices. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable backend services using Python and REST APIs.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services for a high-performance device management platform.
Implement RESTful APIs using Python frameworks, with a strong preference for FastAPI (experience with Django or similar frameworks is also considered).
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end, DevOps) to deliver a seamless user experience.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Python ecosystem.
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Python.
Proven experience building and deploying applications with REST APIs.
Familiarity with FastAPI (or similar frameworks like Django) is a plus.
Experience working with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is preferred.
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with Kubernetes (k8s).
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
