We're looking for someone to join our Surgical Innovations applications team by managing and implementing engineering systems for the Surgical Innovations organization as a Sr IT Business Analyst.

This is a position with the applications team, working with our engineering COE's to implement, maintain , and deploy hardware and software used by the COE's.

Responsibilities include managing and deploying computer hardware and specialized software for the engineering COE teams.Deliver best in class service and support for our Engineering teams in deploying Windows based systems and custom engineering applications written in LabVIEW and other tools.

Additionally, you will evaluate new hardware and software to integrate and consolidate multiple applications and tools into harmonized tools and retire obsolete systems.

A Day in the Life

Will utilize your ability to interface with the COE's engineering teams to gather requirements and needs for systems used in various functions, such as analysis, testing, data acquisition, and programming.

The ability to troubleshoot system and application issues .

Engage with the various groups determine needs and deploy solutions such testing and analysis tools and applications .

Well versed having technical conversations, ability to provide demonstrations of deployed solutions.

Comfortable with technical client conversations - capable of providing demonstrations of the solutions based on product development..

Leverage your existing technical and troubleshooting skillset to build your knowledge base and learn new software and tools.

Self-motivated to manage multiple interface projects simultaneously, completing tasks with competence in a timely manner .

Utilize your communication skills to present technical requirements both clearly and concisely to both internal and external stakeholders.

Driven to self-educate and develop a deep understanding of the applications and tools that are available and to keep up with the technology trends in engineering/testing applications that support the designing or our products.

Develop, deploy, and manage various Windows based applications using Medtronic IT tools available.

Develop support model and upgrade models for applications/systems that are deployed.

Onsite position North Haven CT, but may require up to 10% travel to Boulder CO.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Requires 4+ years of experience with a with a High School Diploma or equivalent or Advanced Degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

• LabView experience
• Testing equipment experience
• Medtronic Systems Validation experience
• Medtronic IT experience
