This is a great opportunity to join a leading & stable company in the medical device industry. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes, capacity expansions, and equipment/process optimization initiatives within various manufacturing sites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
initiatives for capital equipment projects, encompassing the definition of technical specifications, solicitation of competitive proposals, and oversight of all activities necessary for full-scale production.
research to devise design concepts for new automation and technology, presenting proposals to leadership for consideration.
collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement enduring manufacturing processes and systems.
new equipment or modifications, overseeing acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), process development (characterization studies, DOEs, Gage R&Rs), and qualification procedures (IQ/OQ/PQ) for installation, operation, and performance.
support to various manufacturing sites in identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions (RCCA) for equipment, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives and addressing product-related issues.
technical troubleshooting, repair, and enhancement of automated equipment, incorporating hands-on expertise.
data to facilitate problem-solving, validation, and the identification of improvement opportunities.
user requirements, equipment specifications, validation protocols and reports, and other pertinent documentation as required.

Education and Experience:
degree in Engineering or a related technical field. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in automated manufacturing.
expertise in troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment.
experience in conducting acceptance testing and validating new equipment.
