While it initially expects to offer more strategic advise work initially, it will focus on creating long-term engagements. Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Consultant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in shaping the future of AI and driving meaningful impact for our clients. The Consulting Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of AI consulting projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations, and often acts as a primary point of contact between the consulting team and the client.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Coordinate project activities, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to project standards.
Manage project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
Collaborate with consulting teams to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.
Coordinate and oversee the work of cross-functional project teams, including data scientists, engineers, and analysts, to drive project execution and achieve desired outcomes.
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
Foster strong client relationships through effective communication, collaboration, and responsiveness, and identify opportunities for additional engagement and value creation.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI and data analytics, and leverage insights to enhance project delivery and client outcomes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our consulting methodologies, tools, and processes, and share knowledge and expertise with the broader team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of project management experience, preferably in consulting or technology environments.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead teams to success.
Strong understanding of AI technologies, data science principles, and industry trends, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in ambiguity.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment, with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
