I'm working with a client within the Electronic Consumer Product space who is looking to hire an Embedded Software Test Engineer - one who is also experienced with testing embedded software/firmware, as well as having worked around Cloud & Application teams.
Here, you'll be joining the Firmware team & helping build out their QA team from scratch. The client hopes you can assist them in implementing procedures to help shape the future of their processes.
Embedded Software Test Engineer Requirements
-Computer Science education is preferred, but not essential if relevant industry experience is present
-Scripting or programming experience in Linux/Python &/or C
-Raspberry Pi &/or experience working with robotics
-Cloud exposure is a nice to have
-Consumer electronics product experience is a massive plus.
This is an on-site position, based in Rochester, MI with the client looking to offer around $100,000 - $115,000, potentially more for the right person.
