JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for orchestrating data management and integration activities across diverse business units. Ensure seamless data interchange, provide enhanced decision-making methods and significantly contribute to the operational efficiency and overarching success of the organization. Lead team of data professionals while engaging with other department heads by aligning data strategies with organizational objectives. Uphold the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of business-critical data, thus enabling the organization to achieve its strategic aspirations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions across various platforms and systems.
Coordinate with other technical teams and business stakeholders to define data integration requirements and priorities.
Manage a team of data integration specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Adhere to Agile principles to facilitate adaptive planning, continuous improvement, and encourage a flexible, collaborative approach to project execution.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and availability of data through establishing robust data governance and quality control mechanisms.
Develop and maintain documentation for data integration processes, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory mandates.
Identify and leverage emerging technologies to augment data integration capabilities and support business growth.
Monitor and report on the performance of data integration activities, offering insights and recommendations to senior management.
Manage resource allocation and budget for data integration projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Information Technology
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data integration, data management, or a related field. Prior managerial experience in overseeing a team of technical professionals. Experience with event streaming and queueing technologies such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ preferred.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
Strong technical acumen with the capability to comprehend and orchestrate complex data integration scenarios.
Strong knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on nurturing talent and fostering a conducive working environment.
Superior communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with an ability to translate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Solid understanding of data privacy and compliance regulations.
Ability to drive innovation and stay abreast with the evolving landscape of data integration technologies and best practices.
Proficiency in other ETL tools such as Matillion or Informatica.
Budget management and resource allocation skills to effectively oversee data integration projects.
