The Market Director will perform a variety of functions supporting executive leadership and financial professionals from onboarding experience to successful launch into the firm. This individual will support executive leadership and producers as they set production goals, increase professional development, and work to achieve success.
Duties Include:
Assist recruiters during the selection and onboarding process
Responsible for driving growth year over year in their market in these key result areas: Tier 1 Life, disability, and long-term care insurance first year commissions (T1 LDL FYC); Financial Planning Fees; Gross Dealer Concessions (GDC)
Track and ensure participation of new market advisors in training programs, ensuring readiness for Pre-Launch or experienced agent training, in addition to ensuring timely correspondence to compliance and other agency staff
Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales and Development for LDL and the Director of Wealth management for GDC to align strategies and achieve business objectives
Cultivate a positive, consistent, in-office working culture and foster commitment to sales activities
Set clear expectations and conduct regular performance feedback sessions weekly with agents
Conduct weekly check-ins to provide support, coaching, and mentorship to help agents achieve their goals and requirements, and to communicate these goals and requirements to executive leadership
Advocate for, promote, and attend agency initiatives to enhance business performance
Ensure adherence to company policies and standards, maintaining compliance at all times
Demonstrate exemplary time management skills and activity tracking, effectively self-managing and adhering to a structured work week
Participate by teaching in new agent or advanced sales trainings
Provide a comprehensive weekly summary report to the General Agent, highlighting weekly activities and tracking information for all agents
Collaborate with leadership team to ensure a successful launch for new agents coordinating resources to our new agents
Attend Market Director meetings
Participate in candidate interview process to communicate the value of the enterprise and hold candidate accountable to ten step recruiting process
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have Series 7 and Series 65 or 66 (IA-Rep with MMLIS)
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) preferred
No disclosures or issues with FINRA that would require special supervision
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field
Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of success in sales and business development
Deep understanding of the life insurance and financial services industry
Experience in sales, financial planning, and/or financial investments
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
High energy, motivated individual who is a self-starter
Ability to receive and implement feedback
Detail-focused individual with ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality
Proven ability to ask for individual goals and hold individuals accountable to their goals
Passionate about team results and organizational growth
Ability to work in office on a Monday through Friday with reliable transportation
Adherence to business professional dress code
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills and strong sense of professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Salary Range and Benefits:
$85,000 annual base plus percentage of market growth
