Fast growing Biotech is looking for a Senior Manager. This is a hands on role (no staff - off shore vendor management). The role is essentially a Data Architect/DWH Architect and you will need the following:
Minimum of 4 years of hands on development and architect of data warehouses, ETL, data integration, MDM etc.
Architecture experience and be able to manager external data.
Strong SQL skills
Strong AWS required
Strong ETL- (ie Matillion)
Life Sciences is preferred
A successful candidate will drive the expansion, operational maintenance and support of our company-wide Data Analytics and Data Lake platform. They will have relevant experience in delivering digital solutions to enable commercialization of new products, market entries and other common industry dynamics (e.g. roles, alignments, affiliations, hierarchies). They can contribute at an individual level, lead multiple projects and initiatives in parallel excel in vendor management and execute technically at an individual level, in addition project manage and lead parallel initiatives (integrate new data sets, build prototypes, etc.).
In addition, the ideal candidate will have a hands-on, can-do attitude and the ability to juggle the priorities of multiple business partner organizations and projects while supporting the ongoing technology environment in a young organization experiencing rapid user growth.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM or related work experience. Master's degree is preferred.
4+ years of biotech or pharma experience in IT, analytics, and data management
4+ years of expertise in cloud-based database platforms, SQL-based data warehouse design
and data modeling (AWS and Snowflake preferred)4+ years of expertise with Data Integration platforms (Matillion preferred)
Working knowledge of standard pharmaceutical data sources (such as Rx, HCP/HCO demographics, formulary, CRM, etc.)
Experience in product launch and/or establishing new data environments.
Experience with Master Data Management concepts and platforms (Veeva Network preferred)
Experience with Tableau strongly preferred.
Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Tableau, Veeva CRM, and Veeva Network preferred.
Knowledge of data management capabilities (data governance, data quality, metadata management, master data management, data lifecycle management and data lineage)
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead in an environment with multiple partners and contending priorities.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and the ability to communicate complex technology concepts to commercial partners and end-users in a manner that ties to their business objectives.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a team-based environment, including external vendors
Ability to plan, coordinate and complete multiple projects efficiently, on time and within budget in an environment of challenging and changing priorities.
Ability to identify the need for new technologies to augment the current IT landscape and lead the implementation.
Strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
