The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all tax related decisions and activities in the organization. You will help us stay tax-compliant and up-to-date on new tax laws.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance and consulting engagements for clients.
Provide proactive tax planning and advice to clients.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact.
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support.
Stay current on tax laws and regulations, and communicate updates to clients and team members.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Master's degree in Tax.
7-8 years of progressive and continuous tax experience in public accounting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel.
Demonstrated experience in client management and team leadership.
Ability to work independently, with strong organizational skills.
Preferred:
Experience in one of the following areas: international tax, trust and estates, high net worth individuals.
CPA certification.
Proficiency in ProSystems FX and CCH Engagement software.
