Job Description 
This is an entry-level, 12-month, full-time position working 8 hours per day (~7:00am - 4:00pm). The position is responsible for managing accounts payable, organizing and processing financial transactions, preparing month-end reports, maintaining accurate accounting records, and assisting the Business Manager with various activities as assigned. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related business field, or equivelant combination of education and experience in accounting
  
• Experience in public education or the public sector preferred, but not required
  
• High School Diploma or equivalent
  
• Must possess accounting, bookkeeping and general business knowledge
  
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions
  
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
  
• Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks
