Under the general supervision of the Director of Admissions, the Associate Director of Admissions Communication manages communication, social media, and marketing initiatives for the admissions office at the School of Law.In collaboration with the School of Law admissions team, the Associate Director develops and implements strategic communication plans directed to prospective students, applicants, and admitted candidates to ensure accurate information is distributed at the appropriate time. The Associate Director has direct responsibility for prospect communication planning and implementation using a CRM.The Associate Director uses various methods and systems to interface effectively with diverse internal and external audiences and stakeholders in the exchange of information about the law school and its admission process.The Associate Director has primary responsibility for the fulfillment of inquiries for information or services (in person, by telephone, or electronic).The Associate Director manages the campus visitation program for prospects and guests, collaborating with the Student Services Coordinator to customize tours, meet with admissions staff, faculty, and student ambassadors, and confirm visit plans with each guest. The Associate Director also assists in planning and executing on-campus recruitment and yield events.
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of professional experience related to program development in a higher education setting.
Knowledge of Slate CRM and HTML. Knowledge of or exposure to campaign automation. Knowledge of or ability to customize personal and digital interfaces with prospects and applicants. Ability to leverage and repurpose creative messaging from other departments for admissions audiences. Master's degree preferred.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe InDesign etc.), exposure to Customer Relationship Management software (Slate CRM preferred), database management systems, HTML, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, required. Must be highly motivated with a desire to serve students and the public. Must possess the ability to design and implement digital marketing campaigns. Knowledge of and ability to use social media to advance a comprehensive marketing program required. Must possess the ability to implement recruitment activities driven by data analytics. Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required. Must possess the ability to work independently and exercise good judgment in answering questions and providing advice. Ability to manage and advance multiple projects simultaneously, create and follow timetables, and collaborate with team members as required.
COMMUNICATION. Master email, texting, and other marketing capabilities within Slate CRM. Efficiently create email templates that fit within a marketing cascade and ensure that all email communications go out on time. Create communications for both prospects and admitted candidates. Develop comprehensive communications plans to disseminate information relating to application submission, admissions decisions, and relevant information for incoming students to assist in their transition to the Joseph F. Rice School of Law.

RECRUITMENT/EVENTS. Assist in the recruitment of each incoming class through in person and virtual events to accomplish admissions enrollment goals. Collaborate with the admissions recruitment team to plan, promote, deliver, and evaluate on and off-campus recruitment event programs, and execute plans across multiple platforms. Promote events using appropriate methods including email and CRM (Slate). Manage the output of recruitment event - prospects - in the appropriate recruitment platform. Manage the process of inviting candidates to participate in recruitment programs through the LSAC Candidate Referral Services (CRS). Exhibit leadership in the refinement of a prospect plan that will include information flowing from Unite into CRM.

Develop relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate communication among stakeholders, while managing communication messaging across platforms and ensuring complete and accurate information is conveyed to prospects, candidates, and other stakeholders. Counsel prospective students with in-depth inquiries. Communicate with hosts of both on and off-campus events to facilitate admissions team participation, registration, promotion, and other logistics.

Develop protocols to continually monitor the success of the program and implement changes as appropriate to ensure resources are efficiently utilized.
