Currently looking for a Project Engineer to help support its project management efforts across large multi-discipline industrial projects for a large international mining company. Prospective candidates can expect to join a dynamic and creative team focused on efficiently delivering a transparent project experience. As an integral part of the project management team, prospective candidates can expect to take on a wide range of responsibilities within the role of Project Engineer including but not limited to...Multi-discipline project-related planning and execution, including but not limited to schedule, cost, turnover, etc.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Acting as the primary point of contact between the client leadership and the multi-discipline project team
Supporting the development of project proposals including a scope of facilities, scope of work, schedule, staff plan, project execution plan, etc.
Ensuring inter-discipline project coordination
Driving timely execution of all project engineering and procurement tasks
Ensuring that all action items are addressed by project team members in a timely fashion
Project reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Ensuring the project team adheres to all standards and processes
Supporting/assisting the Project Manager(s)
Interfacing with Engineering/Design Leads, Procurement, Project Controls, Document Control, Software/BIM, Admin, etc. for project scope
QUALIFICATIONS:
As a minimum, candidates are expected to have: A bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university and 15+ years of relevant project management experience
Experience in planning and executing multi-discipline Engineering and Procurement on industrial projects
OTHER:
Other preferred but not required experience include
Knowledge in the principles and practices of industrial engineering and procurement, preferably in a multi-discipline EP/EPC environment
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Knowledge and experience in Advanced Work Packaging (AWP)
Experience with MS SharePoint, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Revu
