As a Qualcomm Hardware Systems Engineer, you will design a complete framework or system that influences the shaping of state-of-the-art mobile, edge, auto, AR/VR, compute, IOT, wearable products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., design, software, testing teams, etc.) to identify hardware testing needs and integrate components into products or systems. • Leverages Hardware Systems knowledge to design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, other hardware systems, and/or electrical engineering applications. • Contributes to defining processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output, and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility. • Conducts specialized analyses (e.g., feasibility studies, signal integrity, power integrity, equipment) to establish operating data and specifications. • Develops system features and components to identify potential flaws or compliance issues and finds solutions. • Contributes to subsystem discussion of chipset design and develops and modifies schematics, design layouts, testing. • Collaborates with manufacturing POCs to fabricate hardware, conducts verification of subsystem or design, and ensures platform is compatible and supported by appropriate systems requirements.
