PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Perform LSA to enable the development of LPD to support Operations and Maintenance planning and the deployment of the JLTV FoV and Support Equipment

  • Utilize the most current version of the PowerLOG-J2 database application to maintain and update LPD

  • Ensure LPD is available to develop, validate and deliver logistics support packages for JLTV FoV at the time of its scheduled use for testing, training, demonstrations, evaluations or fielding as required by this contract 

  • Develop a government-approved plan to manage the development and delivery of LPD during the contract period

  • Analyze the data resulting from testing, manufacturing processes, quality assurance, Maintenance Evaluation, and any other evaluations of the JLTV FoV

  • Update LPD within the PowerLOG-J2 database to ensure LPD accurately reflects the results and findings of these activities

  • Continue to update LORA employing industry best practices and including all system-level repairs, and all subsystem, assembly, and subassembly level candidates, including kits for analysis

  • Deliver a LORA for each service using the latest version of the COMPASS

  • Perform MTA on the JLTV FoV IAW TA-STD-0017 Activity 12

  • Update the MTA to reflect changes to the product baseline and the results and outcomes from testing, training, quality, manufacturing, Maintenance Evaluation, and other JLTV FoV evaluations conducted

  • In performance of the MTA, deliver the following LPD: All LPD identified in TA-STD-0017 Activity 12 except activities 12.5 and 12.6., Sequential narrative instructions and procedures for all tasks below depot level maintenance including maintenance source data for TMs and IADS. Sequential narrative instructions and procedures shall be input into PowerLOG-J2 after TM and IADS validation and shall be updated in PowerLOG-J2 after successful TM and IADS verification and Government acceptance, Support requirements for performing each task. These requirements shall include Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), skill levels, tools, support equipment, Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), Test Program Sets (TPS), and repair parts

  • Develop data to establish and achieve improvements in fields such as the establishment of safe minimum levels of maintenance, changes to operating procedures and strategies and the establishment of capital maintenance regimes and plans

  • Perform RCM that will lead to increase in cost effectiveness, reliability, vehicle uptime, and a greater understanding of the level of risk that the organization is managing

  • Develop/update the FMECA from the Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to the indenture level that meets the maintenance strategies of the military services, or as determined by the Government

  • FMECA findings shall be used to develop Technical Manuals and Provisioning data

  • Develop provisioning documentation by developing and inputting spare/repair parts data into the PowerLOGJ2 system to update the Government’s Provisioning Master Record which contains information to maintain and repair military vehicles

  • Develop and update Repair Parts Special Tool List (RPSTL) parts manuals to assure they match vehicle and assembly drawings

  • Coordinate with Technical Writers to assure parts manuals match maintenance procedures and with Illustrators to develop graphic illustrations

  • Attend staff meetings and provisioning conferences with TACOM and the Joint Program Office (JPO) representatives to review drawings and provisioning reports

  • Responsible for operating the PowerLOGJ2 System to produce Logistic Support Analysis Reports (LSAR). Process LSAR documents for review and contract delivery to TACOM


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS



  • Working knowledge of regulations governing military provisioning processes is preferred

  • Ability to read Blueprints to identify vehicle and mechanical parts, have mechanical background, and parts manual reading skills

  • PC literate with knowledge of programs in Microsoft Office Suites

  • Hand-Eye Coordination: must be able to regularly coordinate one’s eyes with one’s fingers, wrists, or arms to move, carry, or manipulate objects or to perform other job-related tasks

  • Manual Dexterity: must be able to regularly make quick, accurate, skillful, and coordinated movement with hands and arms to grasp, place, move, or use objects such as phone, computer, and other office equipment, tools, or controls

  • Agility: must be able to regularly bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with the body, arms, or legs to perform job tasks, including the ability to move throughout all areas of the facility, Company’s property surrounding facility, or additional work areas

  • Climbing / Kneeling: must be able to occasionally climb, kneel, bend over, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, with balance

  • Lifting: must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds with or without assistance

  • Physical Strength: must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry objects using hands, arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups

  • Stamina: must be able to occasionally exert oneself physically over long periods of time, including performing repetitive or strenuous tasks as well as standing and sitting for long periods


WORKING CONDITIONS



  • Physical Location: This position operates between an office and manufacturing plant environment and is often assigned to a specific shift or hours. The Employee must be able to perform job functions in an environment with varying difficult work conditions such as extreme cold, heat, inclement weather, at heights, and/or while exposed to constant/intermittent loud noises

  • Teamwork: This position will work with others to ensure efficiency in the workplace

  • Listening Skills: This position will need to understand how to use machinery properly and safely to prevent accidents and ensure all tasks are completed accurately

  • Ability to follow instructions: Managers assign tasks and responsibilities, which vary; this position should be able to follow instructions competently

  • Methodical approach: Production lines follow a set process, so this position needs a methodical approach to ensure all tasks are completed in the correct order for a smooth-running production line

  • Concentration: This position may perform the same or similar tasks repeatedly, so a strong level of concentration when carrying out these tasks is important for quality control purposes. This role is often fast paced, so being able to maintain focus at all times is important
