Sourcing Specialist at Roth Staffing Companies in Holiday, Florida

Job Description:

Founded in 1980, our client has been focusing on providing value to their customers through reliable products and services, application expertise, and constant innovation. They are the leading supplier of specialized sealing solutions and performance rubber and plastic components. They are seeking a Sourcing Specialist, who will be responsible for analyzing, organizing, and recommending improvements to the sourcing process in Holiday, FL. This position is a Direct Hire position.




Responsibilities:




* In collaboration with Business Development, prepare quotations for customers using historical and market data




* Analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of customer projects




* Establish and nurture relationships with key suppliers to ensure competitive pricing




* Manage Requests for Quotes (RFQ) and the bidding process




* Prepare cost analysis on bids for leadership review




* Collaborate effectively across the organization to achieve sourcing goals and objectives




* Identify potential cost savings opportunities




* Performs other duties as assigned




Qualifications:




* 5+ years of vendor management and customer service interaction




* Must have a track record of strong computer skills




* Must possess the ability to quickly identify problems, develop alternative solutions, and implement corrective action efficiently and effectively




* Excellent computer skills required using Microsoft Office and a variety of systems/software tools




* Must have excellent planning, organization, and follow-through abilities




Required Education/ Certifications:




* Bachelor's degree in Business, engineering, or related discipline




Pay: $20-$22/ Hour




Hours: 8AM- 5PM Monday - Friday
