Project Engineer for Pennoni Associates, Inc. in Clearwater, FL. Design & detail structures in concrete, steel, & masonry for bldngs. & other unique structures. Analyze existing structures & proposed structural alterations. Prep. structural cnstrctn. docs., incldng. drawings & spcfctns. Conduct peer rvws. of other team members' designs & analyses. Conduct material tstng. & failure invstgtns. Conduct structural hardening to mitigate high wind & flood hazard damage. Conduct inspections & generate field rprt. wrtngs. Req. are Bach. deg. in Civil Eng. w/ a cncntrtn. in Structural Eng., Structural Eng., or a rltd. fld. + 3 yrs. exp. in a structural eng. position (1) designing, analyzing & detailing structural components that include steel, timber, & concrete & (2) prfmng. finite element design.
