Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The IT Project Manager is an integral member of the technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of technology projects to ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and with the approved scope. You will develop detailed project plans, monitor milestones, produce status reports, and other project documents. The IT PM will support the clinics, departments, and employees located throughout the US regions.

RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role, you will be responsible for:

Work closely with project team and business stakeholders to define scope, task, budgets, and timelines.
  • Meet with business stakeholders to determine and define project scope and objectives.
  • Organize and lead project status and working meetings.
  • Create and track project plans, measure performance and hold project teams accountable.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project rick and issues.
  • Monitor scope, timelines, project costs and reporting on various KPI's and identify areas of improvement.
  • Present project status to executive level stakeholders
  • Manage external vendors and contract resources
  • Understand the impact of pending change and work with cross functional department to develop a change management strategy
  • Negotiating project plans, time frames, and the trade-off with stakeholders while keeping management of impact to project while appropriately balancing project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks.
  • Develop, analyze, and manage multiple project plans and appropriate project management documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

The IT PM will need to be detail-oriented and able to handle the day-to-day project workloads and contribute to the evolution of project management strategies. This position must possess a strong commitment to high-quality customer service and a solid work ethic. To be successful in this role, you need to be able to effectively manage project risks and adherence to company standards. You also need to have:
  • Proven track record of completing projects to specifications while dealing with challenges such as cross-team dependencies, changing priorities and schedules, and evolving requirements.
  • Relevant work experience in technology with a broad understanding across multiple IT disciplines.
  • Excellent professional development skills, such as oral and written communications, personal credibility, teamwork, collaboration, work planning, and estimating.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, customer-oriented, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Skill in building and motivating technical teams and possess ability to build strategic relationships and influence people at all levels of the organization.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
  • Previous experience in healthcare is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager including IT Infrastructure projects
  • Skilled in communication, highly adaptable, and capable of handling multiple projects and project teams
  • PMP certification - preferred
