Job Description



As Chief People Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organizational culture and strategic direction to empower our people to achieve their best. This role is perfect for someone who is not only a strategic thinker but also thrives on making a tangible impact on a daily basis.


Reporting directly to the CEO and as a key executive committee member, the Chief People Officer (CPO) is a top-level executive responsible for developing and overseeing all aspects of our organization's human resources (HR) and people management strategies both in the U.S. and globally. The CPO will lead a diverse and talented team of HR professionals, ensuring that we attract, retain, and develop top talent, while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace that aligns with our Core Values. The CPO partners closely with senior leaders to align HR strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring that the organization has the right people, skills, and resources to drive success and accomplish our vision.



Strategic Leadership



  • Partner with Executive leadership to develop and execute a forward-thinking global HR strategy.

  • As an executive committee member, keep leadership informed of emerging issues and make key contributions to the formulation of the company's people strategies.

  • Functions as advisor for leadership and management on issues with people and HR implications.

  • Partners with leadership and M&A team to drive HR-related aspects of merger and acquisition (M&A) activities that support our vision of organizational growth within the U.S. and internationally.

  • Will lead and collaborate with various teams across organization boundaries to initiate and drive initiatives with HR and people implications.

  • Establish and manage HR budget.


HR Team and Functions Management



  • Leads the Human Resources team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure high performance and career development of team members.

  • Develops and leads all human resources disciplines such as talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, learning and development/training, employee engagement, compliance, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, with an eye to driving activities that attract and retain top industry talent.

  • Oversees organizational and career structure that aligns with business needs and industry standards, that clarifies for employees their current and potential career placement within the company.

  • Oversee global talent acquisition strategies to attract top tier talent across all functions and geographies.

  • Develop strategy and oversee implementation of a robust talent management program, including performance management, succession planning and leadership development programs.

  • Oversees the strategy and management of employee benefit programs, ensuring that they are competitive and cost-effective, and align with employee needs and company business goals.

  • Oversees internal Compensation Committee in partnership with practice and financial leadership to develop and drive effective pay and incentive programs.

  • Partners with Chief Learning Officer to identify learning needs and drive comprehensive learning and development programs, as well as our Career Progression and Succession Planning programs.

  • Partners with internal experts and vendors to ensure we have effective HRIS systems (Workday) in place, processes, and people analytics reporting.

  • Ensures compliance with company policy, Federal and State legislation pertaining to all employee matters, overseeing employee investigations, partnering with legal counsel as appropriate.





Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in related area of study required; pertinent field; Masters in related field preferred.

  • 15+ years progressive experience leading and developing HR teams and functions in a decentralized organization; experience with Global HR a plus.

  • Experience leading HR in a professional services/consulting company highly preferred.

  • Prior experience driving innovative total compensation and benefits programs; experience with self-insured programs a plus.

  • Experience leading complex, major change initiatives.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive organizational performance and employee engagement and that align to organizational goals and objectives.

  • Strong business acumen and deep understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

  • Exceptional emotional intelligence, interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Proven expertise partnering with and coaching leadership and employees at all levels.

  • Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively.

  • High levels of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.

  • Working proficiency with technologies and metrics (MS Office, ADP, Workday, etc.)
